What Is The Flying Mystic?
The Flying Mystic was founded in 2016 through the merger of the two Psytrance event labels Flying Circus and Mystica. Built on more than twenty years of friendship and a shared passion for psychedelic culture, the project has grown into one of Switzerland's respected Psytrance event series.
Embarking on a mystic voyage across Switzerland and beyond, The Flying Mystic creates events woven from powerful music, mesmerizing visuals and a uniquely radiant community spirit.
Their events are more than parties. They are spaces where creativity flourishes, spirits soar and connections deepen through rhythm, freedom and love.
My Personal Connection To The Flying Mystic
My connection to The Flying Mystic goes far beyond attending events. Over the years I have had the privilege of working closely with Simon Weber, organiser of The Flying Mystic party series.
Through his support and trust, I was given the opportunity to interview many nationally and internationally recognised Psytrance artists during their sets and appearances at Flying Mystic events. These interviews were recorded for the upcoming emunity platform and will become publicly available once the platform launches.
For this opportunity I am deeply grateful. The Flying Mystic has not only created exceptional events, but has also helped build meaningful connections between artists, organisers and the wider Psytrance community.
Supporting The emunity Vision
The interviews conducted during Flying Mystic events form an important part of the future emunity platform.
Through conversations with DJs, producers, organisers and scene personalities, emunity aims to document the people and stories behind electronic music culture.
The official launch of emunity is currently planned for next year, and many of these interviews will become available to the public as part of this project.
